Namaste. We make clothes to love, wear and repeat.

Born where art meets everyday life, ARTHÈ brings thoughtful design and understated beauty into everything you wear.

Who We Are

A fashion house shaped by art and hands.

We work with embroiderers, painters and skilled makers to create ARTHÈ. Some pieces are hand embroidered, some are hand painted, and each one starts with an idea we genuinely want to wear ourselves.

The Work

What we're working on

From the fabrics we choose to the details made by hand, this is where every ARTHÈ piece begins.

Kala Cotton

01

Kala Cotton

An indigenous, rain-fed cotton that asks nothing of the land — no irrigation, no pesticides. Strong, honest fibre that softens with every wash. We're weaving it into our everyday essentials.

Hand Embroidery

02

Hand Embroidery

Motifs guided entirely by needle and thread — fine stitches worked by hand into every piece. Slow, precise and quietly luxurious, no two are ever identical.

Hand Painting

03

Hand Painting

Motifs painted freehand with a fine brush — pigment worked directly onto cloth, one stroke at a time. Fluid, expressive and quietly luxurious, no two pieces are ever identical.

Natural Color Dyes

04

Natural Color Dyes

Indigo blue, madder crimson, marigold gold, pomegranate blush. A palette drawn from plants and minerals instead of petrochemicals — deeper, softer, and kinder to the water it touches.

Deep Dive

What is Kala Cotton?

Kala cotton fields, Kutch

Rain-fed, by nature

Kala cotton grows only on monsoon rain in the arid Kutch desert — zero irrigation, zero pesticides, in a region where little else survives.

Nearly lost, now returning

Pushed aside by industrial cotton, this indigenous variety nearly vanished. Reviving it keeps both the seed and the farming communities alive.

Made to be lived in

The fibre starts strong and slightly coarse, then softens beautifully with wear — the opposite of fast fashion, which dies a little every wash.

Deep Dive

Hand embroidery, one stitch at a time.

Every motif begins as a pencil sketch on cloth, then passes to embroiderers who work it entirely by hand — fine running stitch, French knots and delicate thread-work built up over days, not minutes.

We work with small ateliers of skilled embroiderers across India, keeping every stitch human. No machines, no repeats — each piece carries the quiet signature of the hands that made it.
